Trying to find bulb size for the interior lights to convert them to 6k. Also looking for a way to replace the two lights above the driver and passenger seats. Any help is appreciate it. Thanks Guys!!!!!

I started this journey a month ago and gave up. No one has published the bulb size and I've had the hardest time getting access to the bulbs. The manual says the plastic covers should pop off with a flat head screw driver, but it seems to take a lot of force and I'm afraid to break something.
As for the ones above the center console, those don't match the manual's instructions so I haven't tried to access them yet. I think you need to remove the entire black plastic shroud to get to them but don't know where to begin.
Keep in mind, the SXP's already have LED interior lights. The rest of us get the old school bulbs. I wish I could get LED in a warmer color though. 6k is a bit too cool for my taste.

Okay I was able to find the bulb size for the interior lights minus the map light in the front passenger and driver side. The interior bulb size are DE3175 for 5 bulbs the two in the 2nd row, two in the 3rd row and the trunk light. Here are some pics on the outcome. I went with the 6k lights for a much cleaner look. Hope this helps.

The 6000K color temp is a bit too cool for my taste, but I don't like the nasty yellow that comes with 3000k bulbs. I found some LED's with a 4500K temperature which should be the perfect sweet spot to give a cleaner light output without looking as harsh as the white at night. I'll try to get some pics to share once they arrive.
finally found the way to remove the housing for the Map lights for the front passenger and driver side. You have to pull down from the front part of the whole housing then pull forward towards the rear view mirror. Once you do that there is two wires that are connected you can leave those connected if you want. Then you just twist the house of the light bulb and pull out the bulb. And replace with size 194 bulb. Then too put back just perform it in the reverse order. Hope you find it helpful.
Correct closest to the windshield there are two clips there. Putting it back on make sure they align I had a bit of a hard time with that. Lol. As far as the rearview mirror it’s a Broadway wide mirror. Around 15 bucks but we’ll worth it for me get to see everything lol. Hope that works for you.
Reporting back that I've since swapped from 4500k to 4000k bulbs. The 4500s we're still too blue for my taste. Coincidentally, these are also 2x brighter. The car lights up like the sun 😎. Still gotta swap one last bulb above the front seat passenger then I'm done with the inside. Still gotta figure out the license plate bulbs next.

Yeah, if you could (in the middle seat since it's easiest), that would be awesome - I'd love to see the 4000K v. 4500K before I buy. We had the 6K in the Sedona my wife had and she hated it. Conversely, I hated the factory bulb. Not sure why Kia can't just put in their LED to all models except base at this point!

You can use strip lights from vont for the interior lights, and you can replace the bulbs by buying new ones on Amazon. I know that they have the largest selection of car parts, and I often buy little things for my car's interior on Amazon, like the front seat lights. I also wanted to buy strip lights there, but the price was too high, and I had to find a cheaper option. Anyway, I hope I was helpful to you.

I ordered 31mm (DE3175) LED bulb on amazon for 2023 LXS 5x Interior lights and LED is much wider inside and beefier. The heatsink actually shorted + and - contacts. I was not comfortable leaving them in the car and will return. Both are 31mm, however LED version is wider and is not a good fit. I would appreciate any insights on compatibility.

I ordered this 31mm 5-pack on Amazon and installed without any problems. 1watt matches current incandescent output, runs cool and does not require a bulky heatsink.
Finally got up the nerve to pop down the front map light housing. I had tried before with various small plastic pry bars, but nothing seemed to work. Went big as shown on the attached photo and it popped right out. It does take a suprising amount of force as noted elsewhere in this thread. With a the large pry bar and the bit of wood to protect the head liner and just a little movement it came out. Easy to replace the map lights then. Replacing was easy, just line up (insert the rear portion first) and push up. The led light make a huge difference.
