Just be aware that not all color options are available for the SX and SX Prestige trims. Stupid, as I was eyeing the Deep Chroma Blue.
I think they must still be sorting out the build site. There are a number of discrepancies compared to the options sheet. I can’t imagine they limit based on exterior color.Just be aware that not all color options are available for the SX and SX Prestige trims. Stupid, as I was eyeing the Deep Chroma Blue.
I dunno. Check out page 16 of the vehicle brochure (HERE). It clearly states the colors available for each trim level. There are only 2 colors available throughout all trim levels (Panthera Metal and Snow White Pearl), while Deep Chroma Blue and Silky Silver are only offered on the two low-level EX trims. I don't understand the logic behind that, but I'm sure it's got something to do with cost and/or demand. In the Australian market, the logic is reversed. The higher trim levels offer more color options. Again disappointing stuff for us here.I think they must still be sorting out the build site. Ah yes, Ceramic Silver....or as I like to call it Wet Concrete.Test drove one yesterday. I like this color but waiting for an SX-P View attachment 150 View attachment 150
Yep, that's just the dealer's. Definitely stands out! Thanks for the pics! What's with the hiviz license plates? Is that just the dealer?
It's funny looking at this picture now. This is the one at Capitol Kia I almost bought if it didn't arrive so late. Did you know what it was sold for? I was offered MSRP on March 9th.Yep, that's just the dealer's. Definitely stands out!
This was the dealers first SX, and it sold within half a day of being delivered (would have sold within a couple of hours had the original interested buyer not been overly ambitious with haggling on price). Their second one just arrived the other day and it too sold before the end of the day.
I don't know what it was sold for, but my guy there keeps saying they're selling at MSRP, while some other dealers in the Bay Area are marking up. From the time he texted me photos of the Ceramic Silver SX, to receiving his follow-up text that "it's currently being sold" only an hour and 10 minutes had gone by. So yeah, very competitive market. It's funny looking at this picture now. This is the one at Capitol Kia I almost bought if it didn't arrive so late. Did you know what it was sold for? I think Red and Ceramic silver are both standout colors, and astra blue would be the only other non-boring color option for SX. All 3 would have been fine by me. Also if you are in the east bay area feel free to come by to see if you can change mrs about her opinion on red.just PM me.
I would have thought that was a pretty boring color too, but it looks fantastic in the sunlight!Ah yes, Ceramic Silver....or as I like to call it Wet Concrete.
I also test drove an SX in this color and I definitely changed my opinion on the color. While same may argue it looks flat and even unfinished (like it's a primer coat and still need color added) I kinda like that it's different, a little weird when you first see it, and a new take on the usual boring silver/grey/charcoal palette.
The Mrs isn't a fan of it, or the red, so those color options are out.
Here it is in full California sunshine.
