I recently purchased a 2022 Kia Carnival LX plus. It has remote start via the smart key but not the app. Is there a way to get my front, rear and windshield defrost to turn on with the remote start? Also, can I program the remote start to turn on my heated seats and steering wheel?

Defrost should turn on automatically when the temp is below freezing... As long as you keep the A/C set to auto.

I’m not sure I understand. I have an A/C button and an auto button but they don’t work at the same time.

You don't need to press the A/C button at all. Just make sure the air conditioner is set to auto. There is also an auto defrost mode in the settings. Make sure it's enabled.
