2022 SX Prestige Rear Entertainment BT Audio

2022 SX Prestige Rear Entertainment Bluetooth Audio will not play USB movies through the car's speakers when connected. Went to the dealership and they were able to play the Nature Sounds feature, so we know the connection function works for preloaded media.

My question: Is there a specified audio format required for files located on the USB in order to be heard through the car's speakers while using Bluetooth?

The rear entertainment system is completely separate from the rest of the vehicle’s entertainment system. You need to connect a set of Bluetooth headphones.

That is not completely accurate. Yes you can use Bluetooth headphones as well as traditional headphones but you can also play sound from those displays through your vehicles speakers.
UPDATE
Verified Netflix can play through the vehicles speakers, eliminating the preloaded media only theory. Also was able to play a movie from the USB stick inserted on the back of one of the media displays. That reenforces the idea that a specified sound format (codec) for the video is required.

Interesting! I swear all the discussion on here has been that it was BT-only. Thanks for correction.
