Hello,
I just updated my navigation and the option to avoid freeways is no longer there. All I see is Avoid Ferries, and Avoid HOV/Carpool lanes. I thought clicking these would work, but it still gives me a freeway route. Is there anyway to get around this? Thanks

Out of curiosity, what is the advantage in avoiding freeways? I can understand why someone would want to avoid tollways, but a freeway is... well... free 😊

A lot of times if your trip is just a few dozen miles long , you can get from A to B much faster by driving on regular roads , avoiding jam packed , overcrowded freeways. GPS takes you to freeways even if it slower or longer or both.

Shouldn't real time traffic updates prevent that? I don't use the Kia Nav but it works great on Google Maps.
