Black vinyl on the C pillar - would it look good or not?

The 2023 Sedona is designed with the "floating roof" look, like a MINI or Range Rover, but Kia is leaving the last rear side pillars a light metallic color. I'm thinking it may look better if I cover the pillar in black vinyl so it looks more like the Range Rover below. Powdercoating the wheels black would improve the style too.
