Got our 2023 SX Prestige last week and from the first mile itself, I could hear some clunking noise from the back when I go over bad patches of road/speed bumps. I thought it was the tow hitch accessories left unsecured in the cargo area. I removed them from the car and some form of clunking noise still persists when going over speed bumps.

Has anyone else had the same issue? It sounds like something is unsecured and bouncing. MPV has less than 100 miles in total. The sound is slightly different each time.

I already checked:

• Loose items in cargo area
• Tire jack and tools
• 3rd row seats

I want to sit in the last row to figure out the source of the sound but unfortunately, I don't have anyone else to drive the vehicle

Take it back to the dealer! Wondering if it’s something like a loose rear sway bar.

The dealer I purchased from is not near and don't want to make that trip for something simple. I have another KIA dealer near me, will give try them. The sound seems to be originating from inside the cabin.

I was able to fix this myself. The car came with Port installed Tow package and the person who installed it did not fix the exhaust pipe back.
