Carnival LX seat Package - Forward safety Assist and smart cruise control

1. Forward Safety Assist: you enabled this in the settings on the nav screen? If the car determines you won't have enough time to stop and you'll hit the car ahead it should trigger. I constantly get this when someone slows down to turn and as they do press the gas and the car thinks I'm speeding up and going to hit them.

2. Auto Rear Wiper: this has nothing to do if it's raining. If this is on and you switch to reverse it will automatically wipe once to provide better visibility

3. Auto Start: I'm not sure what this feature is you're talking about

4. Rearview Camera: not sure about this. Think it's probably just something the camera doesn't notice about the fence color, positioning ect. Mine def senses static objects

5. LX seat package has smart cruise control? Not sure as I have a 22 prestige but if you have it it should be on the right side of the steering wheel and looks like an odometer with a needle on it

I bought a 2023 Kia Carnival LX seat Package and I am not able to use the below functions

1. Forward Safety Assist: I have enabled this feature. I tried to test it by going at 45 mph while the car in front of me was waiting at a red light. I did not get any warning, no vibration at the steering wheel. I stopped my car on my own. May I know how this feature works and how would I test it before I rely on this feature for long drives?

2. Auto Rear Wiper: This feature is on. I did not see the wiper turned on automatically when it was raining. I had to on it manually.

3. Auto Start: Auto start is working only once per attempt. If I start the car with the keyfob and turn it off. I can't start the car with the key fob one more time. Auto Start doesn't work unless I manually start the car and stop it.

4. Rearview Camera: The camera detects motion and alerts me with the direction from where another vehicle is approaching. However, Camera can't detect static objects. My car does not detect a neighbor's fence even though I am close to it while reversing the car.

5. LX seat package has smart cruise control? I did not see it. Is there a way to auto-adjust speed based on traffic situation?
