originals on right
yup! Manual says to remove bumper... i just took off the push pins below and stuck my arm through the bumper to access the bulbs. let me know if you need any help with the steps.Definitely doing this, thanks for sharing!
it is. i didnt pull that one to check the bulb. i dont mind that one staying original. in the past ive changed them to LED but doesnt make that much of difference to me. I was just interested in changing the reverse. id assume they use the same bulb though. sucks the manual does disclose the type of bulb neededIsn't the turn signal right next to it? What about that one?
youre welcome! did you stick your arm through the bumper too? lolDone with the backup lights, not bad. I really wanted to get those turn signal bulbs, but they're in a bad place behind other stuff. I expect someday I'll need to change them, guess I'll just give it some time to simmer. Thanks for posting this!

Yes, it deflects just enough. If my arms were any bigger, it wouldn't happen. If they were smaller, I could have reached the turn signal bulbs!
Did you have any trouble changing out the driver side reverse light? I had no problem with the passenger side. Reach my arm through the bumper and was able to turn theYes, it deflects just enough. Did you have any trouble changing out the driver side reverse light? I had no trouble sticking my arm through and turning the passenger side socket counterclockwise and replaced that one very easily. But by the driver side there is a piece of metal sticking out that is in the way and preventing me from turning the socket counterclockwise. It turns maybe a hair or two and then runs into that piece of metal. It needs to turn a full quarter turn just about to be able to have the tabs aligned and pull out.Yes, it deflects just enough. The drivers side cleared that piece of metal for me. I know exactly what youre talking about. Here’s the catch… I could have swore when i took it out I turned it CLOCKWISE from 9oclock to 12oclock… but when i put it back in i put it in at 6oclock and turked clockwise to 9oclock and it cleared that metal fine.Did you have any trouble changing out the driver side reverse light? I have the factory hitch and mudguards. I tried installing the LEDs and gave up. I was able to remove the plastic clips but couldn't get my hands near the bulb area. Also, there isn't much space below the car to work with either. I ended up with a hurt wristAnyone tried this that has the factory hitch? Is the hitch in the way to try to change the bulb?
Interested also in converting turn signals into LED. This features may enhance our visibility to others if we used way brighter lighting than the stock one. The fact that kia placed it to the bottom instead just right next to the brake lights.Grrrrrdid you ever figure iut the turn signal size?
