Installed a curt hitch today with an 8” riser. Very simple install. Also used a curt wiring harness.

Def not a fan of the ground clearance and am a bit nervous as I’ll be picking up a bass boat and driving home 4 hours. Took a few pictures on the steepest part of my driveway.

Has anyone towed a boat with their carnival and had any issues ?

Never understood why all OEM's don't build hitches directly into the bumper to avoid these ridiculous low hung installations.

It's one of the few things I think GM gets right:

Yup. My Ford Flex, which I traded in on the Carnival, had a hitch like that too and it was great. Really disappointed by the Carnival's.
