There definitely should be two. Go back to your dealer to get the other one.
Dealership purchased oil filter missing a gasket
Just curious why the oil filter I purchased at the dealership only came with one rubber gasket? The filter housing has two installed.

When I bought mine 2 months ago, the service desk guy knew to look. Apparently, there are several out there with this issue. Check before you leave! I bought 2, they were both short an oring, and the guy behind the desk cannibalized 2 others to make them whole.
The one I bought only had one too and I didn’t know any better since it was the first oil change. Hopefully it’s fine until #2…Just curious why the oil filter I purchased at the dealership only came with one rubber gasket? The filter housing has two installed.
