The Carnival name and badge haven't grown on me quite yet. I get why Kia went with Carnival but I don't feel like the name matches the look of the vehicle. The badging on the Telluride looks great but Carnival in cursive isn't my favorite. So before I bought the van I looked into debadging videos on youtube. The process seems simple - heat gun, floss, eraser wheel on a drill, clean-up, wax. I ordered the eraser wheel and my wife is out of town for the weekend so I think I'll give it a shot and post pics afterward.

If anyone has any reasons why this would be a bad idea I would like to hear them.

There was a youtube review of the Carnival in which they removed their badge and it looks good. They said they get a lot of people looking at the van that aren't sure what it is and that's okay with me too. The video was 2022 Kia Carnival Prestige (MOM Review).

I would do it in a heartbeat if I already had the tools required, but I wouldn't buy these tools for just this one job. The carnival name is stupid when written in cursive or not. Kia should have just called it the Kia MPV and saved $ on the extra badge letters. :sneaky:

I pulled the Carnival badge off first day we got it. Nothing but floss, my nails and some WD40 was used.
This post gave me the confidence to get the job done. It was a 5 minutes start to finish. I did put some extra heat on it with a heat gun. The floss slid right under the adhesive for the most part and the badge popped right off. There was no residue remaining on the paint which makes me think that this badge may literally fall off if left in the sun for too long. I had bought an eraser wheel on amazon for $10 that I didn't need to use.

Along with the the black wheels, I have never liked the badge either. I was going to add SXP on the right, but couldn't find the letters in cursive.
I hated the black wheels too, but they've grown on me. I think the EX has the best wheels though. I tried to get the dealer to swap them with an EX they had on the lot, but no deal.

Check out Amazon and search "Chrome Letters for Cars". There are lots of selections there.
I found this place online as well. Pricing is very reasonable as others charge $150 for a custom set of lettering. No cursive though. I'm thinking of either adding "MPV" to the back or replacing "Carnival" with "MPV". Might even throw in an 'SX' on the right side to keep it balanced.
