Interior Lights Situation

Am I just missing something or is there not an option to have the interior lights come on when the doors open? It's getting darker in the morning here in Michigan and I can barely see to get my son buckled in his car seat. I've looked over everything and I'm just not seeing where I can turn them on?!

Press the middle button on the passenger side of the black control panel mounted on the headliner in front of the rear view mirror.

I just learned that the hard way in the dark. I had to take the owners manual inside and figure out how to work the interior lights.
Any legit answers on how to turn on "door" mode? I turned the lights on while the car was off, but when I turned the car back on they stayed on. Really annoying.
Nevermind....I realized the issue was caused by user error. Lol

Lol. I had the same issue. They had the button in the "Off" position, but also had individual lights "clicked on". So when I pushed the button for the lights to come on with the doors open, they stayed on. Took me a second to figure it out.
That is the same thing that happened with me!! My 12 year old figured it out but they were either permanently on or permanently off
