We just got the LX trim mode and there is no air/noise leak that we noticed so far.

I have a EX with 6,000 miles and it is so quiet and smooth it is scary. Never owned a Kia before. Took a chance leaving Toyota. I had no idea Kia could build a vehicle this smooth and quiet. Way better than my 2019 Sienna.

The only trim I've heard that has issues with wind noise is the EX and certainly not all EX's have this issue. As an SX owner, I can report no wind noise or vibrations at any speed up to 85 MPH (max I've driven so far).

I have an SXP and just experience some noise when using the top cargo box, other than that is quite as it should be. No vibrations issues as of now for me.

I test drove an EX a few weeks ago and we didn't really notice too much noise although there was some noise. We didn't think it was bad enough albeit coming from a Mazda6 which has way more wind noise/road noise it might not have seemed like a big deal to us.

I have a Prestige SX with less than 6,000 miles and have to say it’s not as quiet as I thought it would be. Also, there appears to be a vibration at differing speeds, but definitely more noticeable at 45 and above. Would like to ask a couple questions please:
Anybody notice significant shaking of the seats and monitors while driving on smooth roads for which none of your other vehicles bounce around on?
Anybody else had to have the tires balanced four times in two months (I assure you it wasn’t from hitting holes, curbs, etc)?
What kind of tires came with your Carnival?
I have had mine at the Kia dealer four times since Sept and I’m always told there is nothing wrong. Thanks for your input.

We’ve had none of the issues you’ve described. I would double check your tire inflation in addition to having the wheels professionally balanced. Also check for uneven tire wear, which could lead to alignment issues.

The cost saving fad in highway and surface roads is "micro-surfacing". The results are usually a hot mess in my opinion causing a noisy result with a drifting feel in steering. I drive cross country between homes twice a year and experience dead quiet and ear plug worthy roads sometimes within minutes.

I just took delivery of my Carnival EX this week and I have not noticed any significant wind noise driving on the highway. I feel like the noise level is "normal" or on the quieter side. This is in comparison to a 2015 Mazda6.

I have a LXS (seat package) and can confirm wind noise too from the driver side window. It’s been an issue since day one and occurs at any speed above 45 MPH (gets worse at higher speeds). Very noticeable during highway driving. It seems to be coming from the window seal in the top back corner. While driving, I can push up on the window seal in that corner and the wind sound goes away. Will definitely be taking it back to be serviced.

Thankfully, it drives very smooth. No vibration at all.
