Center pass through for SX-Prestige
Hello all, I'm looking at the Carnival in SX-P trim due to the added features but worried about the lack of room to get into the 3rd row with captains chair and 2 car seats attached. Does anyone have the Captain's chair with a car seat on each and have enough room to walk through the center...www.carnivalforums.com
Dadillic, thanks for the suggestion. Didn’t notice that, will play with it next timeThis seems to be a reoccurring question. Search the site there are already a few threads on this if im not mistaken
no problem, I would have posted a link to the thread but I’m not sure how to do that yet. I got three boys but they aren’t in car seats and I opted for the vip lounge seats. I think I would have done the same if they we’re still in seats.Dadillic, thanks for the suggestion. Didn’t notice that, will play with it next time![]()

I just really loved how comfortable they are even though they do take away from the utility of a minivan.
Are you leaning one way or another?
yes, I found that thread to be very useful. I also figure to take a seat or 2 out if I really need to for that moment or rent a small trailer. Anywho good luck with your choice and please let us know if and when you make it.I will have my 2nd kid, and don’t plan for the 3rd
I guess I will be okay with 7 seats considering I will have the car for a long time, they will grow up eventually.
Having said that, I did see there is a post in the forum that someone did remove the VIP seats a few days ago. It doesn’t seem to be that difficult, a few bolts and a wire harness disconnection. The post did mention the VIP chair is heavy though.
