Hi All just had my third kid and looking to get a minivan. Dealer is offering msrp 43k on sx trim. Should I take the the deal or look elsewhere. It seems most of the dealers are asking over msrp in Nj.

You could negotiate or take it. Most places have a 2k mark up at a minimum or look at other neighboring states.

Very few people are getting less than msrp unless it’s through some program. A lot of people are having to pay above msrp due to constraints in inventory. As long as the out the door fees are reasonable, msrp seems to be a fairly good deal.

It's a good deal in the current supply/demand conditions. Keep in mind they're already making 3% of invoice price if they sell AT invoice, not to many any other dealer incentives from Kia. But I get it. It's a high demand vehicle now w/ low supply.

Might I ask which dealer is selling at MSRP? I'm also in NJ and trying to get a SXP here. Tried a few places but getting quotes for 10k over MSRP.

I think they were aware that there are dealer mark ups going on but when I spoke to them end of June they gave me a verbal for MSRP so they honored it. That may have changed though.
