I am interested in the second row lounge seat for long trips. Would like to know if an adult can fit in one and extend the leg rest if the passenger side front seat is pushed all the way up, the lounge seat is all the way back and the third row is stored in the floor. If you could post a photo (please feel free to blur your face or take it from the neck down) I would really appreciate it. Also if you could state your height.

I would go try it for myself but can't find one to look at. Thought I had a local used one to see but it was sold when I called down to make an apt.

Front seat is fully back.
3rd row is closed
1st picture is with foot rest more than half. With fully recliner mode as a 5.11ft tall i am not able to use the full foot rest position. It has to be below mid, like in the second picture. With 20degree angle, i can use the full extent of other options of the seat. Again this only useful if its a 4 members family and kids 7+ age. Else they will not enjoy the seat.
With this recline position and the sun room opened gives a very good view of sky in the night time. A good feel with the quite mode playing mild night music. As a driver i cannot enjoy these, but my family does.

Thanks!!! Can you move the front seat all the way up (as in no one will be sitting there so it can be tilted forward also) and see how far you can extend the foot rest. I am 5'9" and have men's size 11 feet.

If you push the second row seats towards the center they will go much further back vs their outward position, almost to where the back seats are (after folding the rear seats down). You will have a lot of room to stretch out.

My current seating position involves removing the front seat headrest and lowering the front seat all the way back. This allows me a lounge position in my current mini-van. I want to see if I can get something similar from the Carnival second row lounge seats. I suspect the front passenger seat does not lower as far as this so it isn't an option. But if anyone knows for sure let me know. Alternatively a fully extended leg rest in the Carnival might be similar.

Here you go. If the front seats are pushed forward, a 7 feet person can comfortably use the full recliner position. Ofcourse the full recliner will only work if the seats are moved to center. Without moving it to the center the seats will hit the side body if you recline. Both the 2nd row seat should be moved to center, and fully pushed back by closing the 3rd row. It means, you will have 2 inch gap between 2 of the 2nd row seats.

See the gap in the first picture with 100% recliner position.
2nd pic is the gap from my foot. I still had 8inches gap. The front seat will still move.
3rd picture is 100% recliner. I promise you, with the front seat moved forward with 5.9 ft, you will use 100% comfort.

If you still want to see the video, share me your email if private chat is available.

Thanks again! I went down to a dealer and placed an order for the 2023 Carnival SX Prestige in white with orange interior. I got the SX Prestige seat package which should get me the second row lounge seats.

Curiously enough I couldn't order the white with the black interior. I haven't seen the orange interior in person so I'm hoping I like it. Not too sad about not getting the black interior since the ones I saw were showing every spec. of dirt. Would like to see a red van in person so the sales person said they would contact me when they had a sold one come on the lot and I could come and look at the color. Red only comes with the black interior. Surprisingly the white exterior was showing every spec. of dirt and there wasn't much depth or pearl look to the paint.

The one I test drove was a silky silver and I really liked that color (it hid the dirt really well). Unfortunately it doesn't come in the SX Prestige.

Thanks! Those are some nice accessories. I appreciate your posting them so I can see them again when I get the vehicle. Seems like the fulfillment times can be quite long. Maybe I'll end up with a 2024.
