Please share a photo of the screens you are using (turned on to the main menu). Some users received a dealer installed version that differs from the factory version. We just received our 2023 EX with the added rear entertainment system last week. We can not get them to play anything but the dinosaur shows that came pre-programmed on it. I've tried attaching a fire stick and it will pull up but nothing will play. What am I doing wrong? I've tried connecting to the cars wifi and my Iphone wifi and neither work. I see people posting that they can stream shows from a roku or fire stick, but nothing works for me. What are you watching through Roku/Fire Sticks? We leave for a long car trip tomorrow and I need my 3 year old to be able to watch shows to keep him entertained! Help!

Here is what our main screen looks like. That dinosaur show is the only thing I can get to work. Youtube that's pre-downloaded opens but won't play anything either. Please share a photo of the screens you are using (turned on to the main menu). Just as I suspected. That's not the factory set of screens. Probably a dealer add on. Go back to the dealer and ask them show you how to use it.Here is what our main screen looks like. Yep, that looks nothing like the 2022 factory system.Just as I suspected. That's not the factory set of screens. Probably a dealer add on. Go back to the dealer and ask them show you how to use it.
Kia, in all likelihood, did NOT change anything. The EX model does not come standard with rear screens. This is very likely a dealer add-on, running a completely different user interface. Why did they even change it? Why not leave it alone and make the Wifi Connection better? I'm not understanding this decision. You keep the exact same hardware, but maybe refine the software. They went and changed the hardware? Why?
Probably the same reason why dealer add-on remote start systems require you to carry a 2nd FOB. Because it's not a true factory setup. Even something as basic as tinted windows from the dealer isn't the same as factory tinted glass. Glass from the factory is mixed with dyes and pigments to darken the color of the glass during manufacturing, while tint from your dealer is just a thin film applied to the inside. They might look similar but only one will never peel, bubble, or scratch.No. I get it. The dealer added the screens. I get that. But why not use the exact same screen, the exact same hardware hook up, the exact same set up. It's already been done. Why introduce new hardware? Because it's obviously not working.
