Rear entertainment

I am a brand new Kia Carnival owner. it is a 2022 sx-prestige. So far I love this vehicle, but i do have a quick question about the rear entertainment tv's. When playing a video or the youtube, is their a way to play sound out of the monitors themselves? It keeps asking for headset wired or bluetooth headset, i heard it come out of the vehicle speakers as well, I was hoping their was a way to have the monitors individually have it come out of each monitor.

Thanks in advance

I doubt this would be an option — note that I do not have a carnival.
Typically what I’ve seen with other manufacturers (I’ve had 4 Chrysler vans over the last, like, 8ish years) is that you’ve the option of:
A) through the vehicle speakers so everyone hears
B) plug in an aux cable for headphones
C) wireless headphones for the system themselves.

sounds like the screens are Bluetooth compatible so you’ve many options.

No speakers on the tablets. My toddler prefers a wired headphones we bought for her. If there were sound, it would be distracting for the driver. You'd be constantly yelling, "Can you turn that down" every 5 minutes.

Steve,
Unfortunately there are no speakers on the monitors themselves. Your best solution is purchasing Bluetooth or wire headphones. Otherwise you can play the audio from one screen through the radio. If you kids are in car seats make sure you get headphones that are pretty slim so that it doesn't keep them from leaning back in the car seat.
