2022 SX

Rear entertainment system has stopped working. I used to connect it to a HDMI adapter and now the screens are either black or frozen or simply does not connect.

I have tested the adapter on my TV and laptop and it works fine.

Movie will be playing and the system mysteriously disconnects or turns to a black screen.

I have been to the dealership 4 times since we have had the car and they only use it like how a teenager would by clicking on Netflix or YouTube. They keep saying my adapters must not work.

They keep saying I have to use the RSE remote app but that doesn't control what the screens show or control any connections.

We spent extra for the entertainment system and it's completely useless if you have younger children.

Does anyone know what the problem could be or how to take off the screens?

There is a detailed instruction to remove the screens in this forum. As for your HDMI issue, you're likely going to have to show the dealership the issue using a good old fashioned laptop connected via HDMI.
When I first received the car the screens would freeze and if we got them to work they were green with tons of pixels. They were replaced but there has always been that feeling that they really just reset them.

I live about 2 hours away from the dealer and when they delivered the car there was a creaking noise when we turned the wheel, the charging ports didn't work, the wireless charger didn't work and something would vibrate under the car while at driving speeds.

The creaking noise was described to us by two old guys as "new car sounds" - maybe something needed breaking in we thought. We didn't know about the vibration until we drove on the highway and we didn't even think about checking the ports or screens while they were at the house.

We've had it for about six weeks and put 1k miles on it but most of it has been driving back and forth to the dealer. We've probably actually driven the car for personal use maybe 3 weeks.
