If you are willing to call around and travel (potentially out of state), you can certainly find a dealer who will sell at MSRP. You can use the vehicle inventory locator on the Kia website (after you complete building one online). Then just set the search range to 500 miles or so. That is how we got ours.

The sad fact is, this vehicle is still on high demand while the supply is soo low. We got ours with 5% over MSRP. We put DP(500usd) and waited for 6 months. Happy to have one...Just negotiate to your local Dealership's internet sales manager that you are willing to put down and wait...Good luck.

Got my Carnival SXP for MSRP at Ferguson kia, Tulsa OK. It took 4 months of wait. But Paid $500 deposit, and placed an order. All the Dealers in Dallas Area were upcharging over MSRP and unnecessary addons in Oct 2022. And the Extended warranty also i was able to negotiate $300 over Dealer cost. Drove a one way rental (4hrs) for me picked up and came back. Had the Credit Union financing, so easier to negotiate and for paperwork. OK (Just need to pay the Doc fee) and i will register in TX for sales tax.

Overall Experience with Ferguson kia was Excellent.
