Hello! I was wondering about two things with my new carnival. First, is there a way to set your heated seats to turn on when you remote start? Also, when I get out of the car and I want to lock it, I can’t press the lock button on the inside driver side door to lock the car. Does anyone know how to turn on this feature so I can lock the door that way?

Additionally, when I escape the vehicle and I need to lock it, I can't press the lock button within driver side way to lock the vehicle. Does anybody has any idea how to turn on this component so I can lock the entryway that way?
The only way to enable heated seats when starting remotely is to use the Kia Access app.
I personally haven't tried this, but I believe the car won't lock with the door open while the key FOB is still present inside the vehicle. You must exit the vehicle with the FOB on your person, close the door, then lock the car using either the fob or the button on the exterior handle. This is intended to prevent you from locking yourself out of your car.
