I just ordered an SX. They said wait is September 2022 to December 2022 and it will be 2023 model.
Ordered a Thunder Gray EX+ (seems like the popular model) mid Aug '21 and told 3-4 months but now no date at all. Mid-Feb would be 6 months for me but not holding my breath. I wonder when they will stop concentrating on 2022 models and start building 2023.I have a lot of pessimism about actually receiving the van on time. Especially hearing that you ordered months before me. People have suggested that less equipped models have less chips and could be delivered earlier then the fully loaded versions. I'll follow-up with the the dealership shortly and post the results.
Thanks for the info. EX+ seems to have $4k markup and SX a $3k markup above MSRP.These wait times a hard to deal with, you'll need to confirm this, but I think Bessada Kia in Pickering might have an SX and an EX+ on the lot and unspoken for.
That's good news. Still waiting to hear something from my dealer. Sale person keeps saying he is waiting for the Sales Coordinator to get back to him.On another note, I recently received my VIN but the dealer still says end of February. We also ordered ours in Thunder Grey, we almost went with the EX+. I feel bad for our American friends. The LX+ and EX+ are fantastic trim packages that they can't get. I'm surprised Americans don't cross the border and purchase the Canadian models and they get a favorable exchange rate.
Hi, I just finalized my paperwork with the dealership on Saturday. I'll be getting my LX+ on February 25th. I noticed a white EX came in with mine. I'm not sure if it's spoken for but call Orangville kia and inquire. It was almost 6 months exactly from when we placed our order to pick-up.White EX, placed in June. Still no VIN or ETA.
Me too, ordered early June 2021 and they said delivery in February 2022. Still no VIN assigned and they have no idea on delivery.Lucky you. I ordered SX on late June. No VIN yet. And they told me maybe in Feb but not Guaranteed.
