I still haven't sat in the 3rd row yet ☺ but I'm pretty sure there are 2 speakers back there since there's only 1 in each of the 4 doors.

This is my first post. I am planning to buy a Minivan and Carnival is on the top of my list. Can anyone post the speaker locations for the SX model (US)? Does the 3rd row get speakers?

If I am guessing right it should be 2 tweeters on the front pillar, center speaker on the dash, 1 on each door and just 1 speaker for the 3rd row. Any SX owners can confirm?

I tried with the direct USB connection and I get the same output. I went to a Kia dealership and a clerk actually showed me an actual front speaker, I was surprised of how cheap the unit looked. In this day and age they are still stocking some cars with speakers that belong in a car from the 1990's. Not only that each speaker are sold by KIA for $84.00 each!! Not for the pair. He was not able to provide me with the sizes but gave a pages with all the part numbers for each speaker and schematics of where they are actually located on both the SX and the Prestige. If anyone wants those pages I will be more than happy to email them to you.
It's not 8 speakers in the US SX trim. It's 11. I was able to hear sound out of all 11 locations this morning. 3 on the dash, 2 on the A-pillars, 1 in each of the 4 doors, plus 2 in the C-pillars.Hi -

If that is true then SX will just be missing the sub woofer. But the official spec mentions 8 speakers for SX though.It's not 8 speakers in the US SX trim. It's 11.
