Touch sensitive buttons by the volume knob no longer work after updating software

So I decided to finally update my software yesterday on my prestige. Was trying out the new software and noticed none of the touch buttons in that row work anymore. Map, nav, radio, seek, track. None of them work anymore. Like wtf happened. Anyone experience this?

I think it fixed itself the next time I drove my car

Update. There is a new update for the Kia October 2022 Navigation Map and Software update. I updated in December. Even thought the name is the same, the version number is different. You can see the current software version at Kia Navigation Map Update > Notifications
