Turn off Tunnel Entry Assist

When the Nav system is engaged and the route takes the car through a tunnel my 2022 Carnival automatically closes any open windows and sunroof as we enter the tunnel. I believe this is a part of the Nav system called Tunnel Entry Assist but I cannot find a menu option to turn it off. Has anyone figured this out?

I had no idea the Carnival would do this. Does it do it only on approach with the GPS running? Also does it reopen after exiting the tunnel?
It does it only when Nav is engaged and you are about to enter the tunnel. It closes windows and sunroof. It does not reopen them when you exit.
Could this be caused by "Recirculation Mode Plus"? It's located in Setup -> Vehicle -> Climate -> Recirculate Air
It states: "Uses Navigation information to prevent bad gases and odors from entering the vehicles at known locations"
I would assume a tunnel fits in this case, but I have no significant tunnels to test it.

KiaCanuck, you are a genius (or at least you read the manual more closely than I apparently did). That solved the issue. Even my dealer didn’t know the answer so I’m very appreciative for your help.

This is an awesome find. Perhaps Kia should enlist you to be a technical editor. :)

I wish I could read manuals, they drive me nuts with all their misleading story lines and plot holes... No, this is truly just born out of time in the vehicle, I take the wife shopping and now I happily stay in the car and fiddle with it. We need a Altered Reality manual, point your cell phone in the car and it automatically tells you everything about it, where to find the settings and what the options are and what each option does.

I think you mean Augmented Reality ;) though Altered sounds like a fun innovation too! ha.
