Hi! Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the VIP lounge seat controls in the SXP trim? Trying to avoid having my kids touch the buttons and mess up the installation of their carseats.

Check the menu in settings. But to be honest, the easiest thing to do is to tell your kids NOT to touch the buttons. Problem solved. I have a 6 year old that likes to recline with her booster. One scolding put a stop to that immediately.

I am having this same problem! My two year old reclined the seat while the car seat was strapped in and it deformed the leather! Has anyone found a way to disconnect the power to the VIP seats?!???

The only thing I figured out is that if the seats are in the most outboard position it disables the quick recline button. Unfortunately I like having my 2nd row pushed back as far as possible so I have to keep my seats pushed towards the center for that. I wish there was a way to turn the controls off completely but I haven't figured anything else out yet.

There should be a wiring harness that for the power etc. and you should be able to disconnect to disable the controls on the VIP seats.
