So Kia decided in about Jun 22 to pause the supply of V6 petrol engines to Australia due to greater demand in Northern America and Saudi Arabia. But will ramp up diesels to fill the gap

Disappointing for a lot of prospective buyers.

We ordered the Platinum V6 in Feb 22 expecting a 9-12 month wait only to find out 6 months in, there is a pause on V6 petrol versions of minimum 12 months.

How long is a piece of sting.

How many others are in a similar position ?

This forum is predominately browsed my North American consumers, so we really can't comments since we don't have the "platinum" trim or even engine options. But I can see why Kia would prioritize V6 gasoline engines to the North American market. The demand for this vehicle is sky high here and it only comes with the one engine configuration for all trims.
