How did you find out the order was kicked out? I am looking to place an order for a SXP in the next couple of days and my dealer did not say anything about order rejection. :(
Sorry for the late response.

I put it in with a dealer in western VA and after about a week they never charged me the deposit. So i called and they said that after putting in the order Kia kicked it out, and they weren't sure when or if it was going to "reopen". I figured they were lying to me and just not wanting an out of state sale or wasting an allocation on a Carnival or something. poor communication from the get go. She swears she called and left voicemails about the issue but never called me. Cahrlie Obaugh Kia of Stainton, VA. Not good to work with even with the promis of MSRP. Went with Freedom Kia and they put the order in no problem. Orderd back in later July now just waiting to hear when it will be made.

Sorry about your experience. At least you found a good dealer. :). I am seeing more cars available recently. Maybe it is trending in the good way.

I got mine from Freedom Kia as well. I also almost went with the dealer in Staunton but decided against it. Had zero issues with the freedom Kia process. I'm currently very happy with the vehicle.

NC here. Just ordered our Snow White Pearl SX Prestige yesterday.

Not able to get the interior lighting or bumper applique as the dealership stated accessories were "unavailable", other than that, pleased with out build.

Dealer did state that no colors were able to be ordered from Kia other than Panthera currently and that it may be up to 4 months before they accepted orders for the Snow White again 🤔🤔

To be fair, I think Panthera was our favorite color on the Carnival, but both my wife and I are big detractors of the chrome accent on the C-pillar, which almost by itself pushed us to a Sienna, but after seeing pictures and video of the Snow White, it blends in a "hides" much better than the other colors.

Here's to hoping what the dealerwatated for turnaround time doesn't pan out, my wife is hoping for a much shorter process so it's here before baby #2 on 8/13.
Who was the dealer? Also did you have to pay any premium/mark up over MSRP?

For those that have made recent purchases, any movement in getting below MSRP? I think I've read one person so far that's managed to get below MSRP.
Wanted to share my Experience:
Got my Carnival SXP for MSRP at Ferguson kia, Tulsa OK. It took 4 months of wait. But Paid $500 deposit, and placed an order. All the Dealers in Dallas Area were upcharging over MSRP and unnecessary addons in Oct 2022. And the Extended warranty also i was able to negotiate $300 over Dealer cost. Drove a one way rental (4hrs) for me picked up and came back. Had the Credit Union financing, so easier to negotiate and for paperwork. OK (Just need to pay the Doc fee) and i will register in TX for sales tax.

My SXP 2023 is with 8 seater Hence the Order last year.

Overall Experience with Ferguson kia was Excellent.

I see now a lot of cars are showing up in ADs. Not sure if KIA is shipping more now.
